Progress Update #3

Progress on the book continues apace, and this week I took a little break from colouring to jump into some hand-drawn sound effects, and to polish up dialogue.
The book is shaping up great and is on track to be finished and printed in November. Speaking of which, there's been a big global event regarding US shipping that I feel obliged to touch on.
Australia Post temporarily suspends shipments to the US
You may or may not have heard that many countries around the world have put a temporary hold on shipping merchandise to the United States. Australia is one such country. This is due to new tariffs on all imported goods under $800 value, which comes into effect at the end of August.
US customs are requiring that the tariff be paid before the item arrives, and Australia Post is currently working on integrating a new system to facilitate this. We don't know exactly when this will come into place, but I am hopeful that it will be up and running before it comes time for me to fulfill this book in December.
However, should it take longer than expected, one way or another, I will make certain that US backers will receive what they ordered from me. As backers, I'm not asking anything further from you beyond the trust and understanding you've already demonstrated time and time again.
